Technical Project Leader (m/w/x) Responsibilities You are in charge of the functional management of the technical project team during the project development phases, and coordinate and distribute the tasks to your colleagues You ensure the fulfillment of the technical project targets (scope, timing, quality and costs related to the development), mediate and escalate in case of deviations on the development targets You plan, control and track the engineering activities according to the overall project plan and targets coming from the project manager (including development cost, budget, schedule and quality targets) You coordinate the technical team to assess the project-related risks and elaborate recovery plans that you then ensure the implementation You are accountable for the engine BOM readiness and Life Cycle from prototype to pre-series, by coordinating the activities of the technical teams You are responsible for the final technical release of the complete system (HW, SW, DS), according to the subsystems' validation and release coming from the technical lines You report the technical status of projects (work in progress, issues, risks...) to the core team and to the development management You actively support the Project Manager in aligning the development schedule, sharing the technical documentation and ensure the acceptance of technical solutions (industrialization, production, customer service, ...) during development phases You are responsible for the preparation of the technical presentations for management reviews, technical and steering committees and have an active involvement in activities for project quality improvement and the development processes Competencies You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering and a global experience in the combustion engine development area You have minimum 5 years' experience in engine development and a first experience in the coordination of a project team within a matrix organization You are linguistically proficient in English, German and/or French would be an asset You have advanced knowledge on Microsoft Project You enjoy coordinating activities and teams in a matrix organization As a person, you have a strong business acumen with developed leadership skills, social competencies and communication skills You are recognized for your strong assertiveness and you easily motivate others through a common objective Our Offer Can we inspire you to take on a responsible position in a dynamic and independent family business? EATS Engineer (m/w/x) Your Responsibilities You are in charge of the development of the exhaust components for all LH engines and are the key contact person for technical questions related to exhaust system components (both internal to LMB and to suppliers) You are in charge of carrying out the FMEA and definition of the DVPNr for exhaust system components. Additionally, you define, schedule and hand-over tasks to the pool testing team (test operators), and manage support and follow-up activities You are responsible for the exhaust system components supplier evaluation (from the technical side) and for the definition of the technical specification versus the supplier and customer for the exhaust system components You define the prototype needed for testing and specific instrumentation You define the limits of each component for a calibration guideline to LMB application department and the content for the installation guidelines of the exhaust system components You provide support in activities revolving around the SW function to control the exhaust system components You ensure troubleshooting activities and support customer service in answering technical questions Your Profile You are a mechanical or chemical engineer with a specialization in the EATS system You have 3 to 5 years' experience on EATS development of exhaust system components You have basic knowledge on project management and FMEA as well as on software function development You fluently speak English - knowledge of French and/or German is of advantage You have advanced knowledge in Matlab and Concerto You differentiate yourself with your team spirit and flexibility when facing tasks.
