The ACT-A combines public and private sector expertise and institutions from around the world to accelerate the development, regulatory approval, scale-up, delivery and equitable allocation of COVID-19 tests, treatments and vaccines. The Vaccines pillar of the ACT (also known as COVAX), co-led by CEPI, Gavi and WHO is working to accelerate research, development and manufacturing of a wide range of COVID-19 vaccine candidates, support the rapid scale-up and promote equitable deployment of safea nd effective COVID-19 vaccine(s) globally. DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES Under the supervision and overall guidance of the Programme Manager, the Programme Officer will undertake the following specific duties: 1. Conduct the project management of all workstreams - progress, issues. Provide information to relevant meetings on ongoing/completed/upcoming activities in workstreams. 2. Monitor workstreams/sub-workstreams across the three organizations to identify challenges/blockages and propose problem-solving processes to address and resolve issues. 3. Manage high priority workstreams leads and provide project management support as required to drive action, follow up and deliver on commitments and ensure that workstreams work effectively, efficiently and in a timely manner to achieve deliverables. 4. Develop a strategic project management roadmap for evaluation at regular intervals, based on workstream/sub-workstreams plans in order to identify items or areas that need urgent or priority action that will achieve expected results. 5. Convene key meetings (Covax Coordinating Committee, senior management, Workstream Convener calls, etc.), stimulate preparatory action where needed, prepare materials, action points and monitor follow up. 6.
