Job mission As a (senior) scientist in the area of Small Molecule Bioanalytics and Biomarkers, your main responsibilities are the evaluation and application of novel methodologies to support non regulated preclinical studies and to drive scientific innovation in the field. You work with other scientists and associates as a matrix leader and inspire others with your technological insights and creative ideas. Your impact You are an expert in LCMS technologies, scout new technologies and new applications for the quantitative analysis of various and novel Small Molecules that are developed as Therapeutic drugs. You are aware of state of the art methods and are able to oversee the quality and speed of external method development activities. You inspire other scientists and associates and train them in the application of new technologies in the area You drive and coordinate the development of novel methods and study sample analysis at external collaboration partners. You are keen to develop and troubleshoot methods for the pre-clinical and clinical development of drugs and biomarkers for other modalities, e.g. Biotherapeutics or Oligonucleotides. Your profile PhD or MsC in Chemistry, Chemistry and Pharmaceutical technologies, or similar 4+ years experience in development, validation and application of LC-MS assays for the measurement of small molecule drugs and biomarkers in biological fluids. Previous experience in LC-MS method development for oligonucleotides and large molecules will be a plus. Sound experience and practical knowledge of the procedures to procure and manage bioanalytical services at external providers (CROs). Ability to think unconventionally, applying scientific rigour in the evaluation and development of new technologies to support all current and emerging modalities.
