We are looking for a CNC Programmer & Prototypist (m/f/x) to join our New Product Introduction team in the Global Technology & Processes department at Straumann Villeret SA, the main dental implant system production site of the Straumann Group. Located in the French speaking part of Switzerland our production sites in Villeret and Corgémont currently employ more than 900 staff. In your role you will... Carry out machining programs within the framework of industrialization of new products or exploration of new CNC approaches Define and guarantee the machine parameters (machining) and elaborate part programs and tool lists Explore the manufacturing means to optimize design (DFM) and machining process performance Participate in the early stage of Industrialization of the product Realize prototypes in a fast iteration loop environment Participate and update analyses of failure modes, their effects and criticality (FMEA) Share and capitalize on the experience acquired with the teams through standards and data recording Participate and contribute in Proof of Concepts (PoC) on CNC process activities We are looking for ... CFC (Swiss Federal Certificate of Competence) in mechanics or equivalent. Experience of several years as mechanic, or CNC bar turner could be considered as equivalent. Several years of experience in bar turning Specialist in cutting tools and programming of CNC machines Mastery of CAD/CAM software Specialist of the means of measurement Experience in medical devices, pharmaceuticals or any other highly regulated environment a plus Understanding of production flows and requirements in an industrial environment Good knowledge of various methods and tools for problem solving and process improvement (Lean manufacturing) English Level B1 minimum required / German or French (Level A2 or higher) as a second language is appreciated Excellent ability to manage priorities and timelines Methodical and rigorous, precise with good analytical and decision-making mindset, capacity to synthesize Open-minded and solution-oriented Respectful of instructions, rules and colleagues Excellent communication and information skills, comfortable in multidisciplinary and matrix collaboration, excellent interpersonal skills including with external partners Motivated by an industrial organization and contact with the field Positive attitude, passionate, adept at change, ready to make mistakes and learn from them Mobile, open to travel between sites according to the project needs.
